Cuban Son arrived to Puerto Rico and USA with Ignacio Piñeiro’s SeptetFounded in 1927, Ignacio Pineiro’s National Septet is recognized worldwide as the most authentic cuban sound performing orchestra. The legendary ensamble performed a sensational tour in Puerto Rico and in the US (where the last time they performed was in 1933). For decades their music has entertained hundreds of Cuban music lovers. Ignacio Piñeiro’s Septet performed in San Juan, New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Miami, with the aim of promoting their last album “Clásicos del Son”. During their tour they received enthusiastic ovations from their fans and public in general. Manager and member of the Septet Ricardo Oropesa Fernández said to be greatly satisfied with the tour, because after travelling extensively throughout Europe and Latin America, now their amazing and energetic Cuban music finally arrived also to Puerto Rico and USA.
