Composer, guitar player and singer.
Heidi Igualada was born in the City of Havana in April 1964. She is an elementary-level graduate in guitar from the "Ignacio Cervantes" Center of Professional Upgrading and higher-middle level graduate in singing from the "Félix Varela" Provincial Center.
This troubadour has offered several concerts on different stages in Cuba and in Guatemala and Nicaragua.
During her career, Heidi Igualada has shared the stage with important artists, including: Marta Valdés, Luis Enrique Mejía Godoy, Sara González, Anabel López, Marta Campos, Rita del Prado, Jorge García, Gerardo Alfonso, Lázara Ribadavia, Ariel Díaz and the String Quartet from the Higher Institute of Art.
Her songs are characterized by a soft, sweet and lively poetry, never accompanied by the violent nature of this modern (or post-modern") era, nor by the impenetrable metaphor, plagued with latches. Her poetry is clear, with the daily tenderness that, sometimes, is not perc
eived.
Her guitar, discreet though present, together with her voice takes us flying and embraces the stage. Her song is full of simple tenderness and nurtures our sensitivity.
