Misael Caballero was born on January 12, 1965 in Matanzas. He is a self-taught musician. In 1989, Misael Caballero founded his own group known as "Lógica" where he mainly performed jazz. He participated in Festivals of this genre and performed at the famous "La Zorra y el Cuervo" jazz club.

He was invited as independent musician by Gabriel Hernández to participate at the Jazz Festival in Cancún in 1997 and 1998. That same year he renewed his group, now known as "Lógica II", and, besides playing j azz, he also began interpreting the pop-fusion music resorting to a very peculiar musical format: bass, guitar, drum, batá drum and voice.
