All the Music of Cuba is sounding around to welcome the 2009 !! On January 1rst, 2009, two Cuban favourite orchestras will offer a big concert nearby Havana’s sea wall: “Juan Formell y Los Van Van” and “Paulo F.G. y su Elite”, besides the show of the famed Tropicana cabaret.
Simultaneously, there will be concerts in other ten stages of the Cuban capital.
In Pinar del Rio -the land of the best cigars of the world- will performthe charismatic Pedrito Calvo and La Nueva Justicia;in Camagüey will be Arnaldo Rodríguez, the popular “mulato acelerao´” and his Talisman Orchestra; whereas in Holguín City, the young audience will enjoy Naciry Lugo and Moneda Dura with the current hits of the album “Alma sin bolsillos” (Soul without pockets).
Ricardo Leyva and Surcaribe will arrive to the oriental province of Las Tunas with their contagious Cuban conga; Santiago de Cuba will celebrate the first day of the New Year with three luxury bands: “Manolito Simonet y su Trabuco”, “Pachito Alonso y sus Kini Kini” and “Maraca y Otra Visión” and Guantanamo invites people to dance with Elito Revé's music.
