La Tabla band was founded in 2007 by the bassist, arranger and composer Yadiel Bolaño. From its beginnings, it has been composed of young musicians graduated from the Cuban art schools, with various influences, ranging from jazz to different styles of Cuban music. Although it is recognized as a band of danceable popular music, its broad repertoire includes, in addition to salsa, other genres such as Son, Cha Cha Chá, Rumba and Bolero, with a contemporary vision. It also includes both new compositions and memorable songs of the Cuban musical heritage, always respecting their original musical style in the arrangements. This young band is already part of the catalog of excellence of the Cuban Institute of Music. They have co-staged in Cuba with many of the emblematic bands of danceable popular music of the country. They have also toured in several Latin American countries and their music is becoming increasingly present both nationally and internationally.
