Singer, pianist and composer.

Isis Adriana Flores Betancourt was born in Sancti Spiritus, Cuba, on November 23rd, 1974.

Being a child she felt attraction for music and dance. At the age of 7, she began her piano and choral chant studies at the Elementary Music School Ernesto Lecuona and later continued the next music level in Havana, concluding her studies as professor of Choral Direction.

Isis created several groups with children of different ages combining music and dancing. She also worked as a model for the prestigious Russian designer Viera Reinoso.

As a singer, Isis started working with a female orchestra called Son Damas; then she connected with the ensemble Novel Voz and later became a member of David Blanco´s band, as pianist and singer. With David Blanco she worked for five years, recorded several albums and performed countless national and international tours.

2003 was the year of her first solo appearance with th e video Llegarás (You will come), a song written by her which received three nominations to the Lucas Awards, granted in Cuba to the best video clips every year. Isis also reached the first positions in the hit parades on national radio stations.

In 2005 she presented another video hit: Vino amargo (Bitter wine) and obtained the prize as the Best Pop Video, which provided her major opportunities and opened the doors to her first recording. With the video clip Voy a darte (I am going to give you.) she also achieved five nominations and three Lucas Awards 2006.

Nowadays she is living a triumphant career with her own band, working the line of Cuban way pop-rock music. Her debut album, the CD Sola (Alone) published by BIS Music label in 2007, obtained two nominations (Pop/Rock and Best Video Clip) at Cubadisco 2008.

Her career is backed by a large amount of prizes, tours and performances at festivals and events in Cuba and abroad. This young singer of excellent vocal qualities is one of the current stars of Cuban pop music.
